- EPC has helped to initiate the bringing of water to schools in the area
- It has also helped homesteads in the area translocate and transport their building materials for them in order to reduce the need for tree felling
- Most of the staff at the camp are employed from the community
- EPC usually insists on the guests visiting the Maasai Villages so as to give the guests direct contact with the local people so as to build friendships and gives tourism a real face
- Revenue for land rent goes directly to the community landowners
- The whole camp is removable with no cement poured
- Rubbish is responsibly recycled with separated glass given to the East African Women’s League which runs the Glass for Glasses project
