ITINERARY DETAILS

This package will take you for 10 days 9 nights experiencing Shaba National Park and meet the samburu's big five in the eastern part of Kenya then drive to the Rift Valley ending up at the Lake Nakuru National Park which is known for flamingoes and lastly ending up at the Masai Mara Reserve the eighth wonder of the world.After your safari you will have a full day of activities with children of Soweto Slums Good Samaritan Orphans & Destitute Children's Center.

Day 1 - Arrival Day - Nairobi-Sarova Panafric

Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and met by the DSL staff and taken to your hotel for rest at the Sarova Panafric and briefed on your itinerary for the next day.

Day 2,3 - Nairobi-Shaba - Sarova Shaba Game Lodge

Picked early and the adventure to Shaba begins on a DSL safari mini bus. Experience the different landscape that Kenya has to offer as we go to Sarova Shaba. This journey from Nairobi to Shaba takes about  5 hours driving time.

Day 4,5 - Shaba-Lake Nakuru-Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge

We will check out from the hotel after breakfast and start the scenic road transfer to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. We will have 3 game drives at the Lake Nakuru National Park over the 2 nights we will be spending here.

Day 6,7,8 - Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara-Sarova Mara Game Camp

After breakfast we will check out from the lodge and the journey to Masai Mara starts. The distance from Nakuru to Masai Mara is 160km that is a 3-4hrs drive.

Day 9 - Masai Mara-Nairobi

After lunch we will have our scenic road transfer to Nairobi as we stop along the way meeting the locals and admiring the landscape. We will check in at the Sarova Panafric and relax for the rest of the day. Dinner will be had at the carnivore restaurant.

Day 10 - Nairobi Children's Home Visit

This day will be spent with the children of Soweto Slums Good Samaritan Orphans & Destitute Children’s Centre. This is a children’s home that caters to children from the ages of 14 months to 13 years. Most of the children are total or partial orphans brought to the home by relatives, friends, government officials, police officers and social workers.
