Joys Camp is an elegant luxury tented oasis located in the Shaba National Reserve in the arid lands of Samburu. Joys Camp is built on the site of Joy Adamson’s tented home in Shaba National Reserve. This site was also home to Penny the leopard the heroine of her last book. The camp overlooks a large natural spring where elephants and lions jostle for watering rights.

Accommodation
It has 10 chic sophisticated and stylish spacious en suite tents. These are 7 doubles and 3 twin tents. Each tent has its own private veranda from where you can view the game. The tents are decorated with Boran/Somali cloth design, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local nomadic tribes.
