It is located in the heart of Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. This lodge has a truly unique architectural concept. The rooms are elevated on stilts each overlooking a waterhole and linked by suspended walkways. The waterhole at the lodge is floodlit when the sun sets so that guests can have front row seats of the magical show that takes place at the waterhole. Elephants, gazelles, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, baboons come to the waterhole to quench their thirst. There is an underground tunnel and chamber that was strategically constructed in order to allow guests a closer and safe view of the wildlife at ground level.
